South Africa, KwaZulu Natal, 1992: Twelve year old Simo begins Secondary school and his twin sisters begin first year. But neither him nor his family can foresee what happens in the years ahead.
The IFP and ANC war threatens lives of many; Simo forced to be part of a guerrilla group and his mother deals with war losses, they both pick up the pieces and thrive after the war. 

Two decades later, Simo’s secret past is a threat in his love life, like cancer it crawls up his skin and he must find what he longs for: Forgiveness.
