The year is 1986. In rural Duggart the youth find themselves immersed in the freedom struggle that engrosses the entire country. Singing and dancing among them is 18-year old Dooks Digame, who unbeknownst to his family would soon present with a mental illness. His religious family is now confronted with the reality of mental illness and the fact that they may have to watch the vibrant dreams of their beloved, intelligent only son vanish before their eyes. In a village tormented by mental illness and hair-raising witchcraft tales, can the family stick to their faith with unwavering hope for healing or will they succumb to increasing pressures and consult traditional healers?
